Naruto Eledia Contest Entry

DOUBLE EDIT: I added some expressions, what the phantom limb jutsu looks like, and made the font even easier to read (due to devinchan telling me it looked like phantom lime instead of limb and I don't know how fruit based jutsus would work XD)

This is for contest for an OC for his Naruto Eledia web comic which takes place a 100 years after the show. Its a pretty good story so far and since art is not a factor I thought it would be a good stress reliever and practice. Anyway...

Bio: Born with only one arm, Machiko was never expected to become a ninja and considered a disgrace to the clan. However, her mother had faith in her daughter and trained her in the art of swordsmanship like the rest of her clan. Inspired by the stories of an opponent of the legendary Naruto who could use one handed jutsu, she began attempting to learn jutsu under her mother’s guidance. While she was still quite young, her mother died on a mission which left her to attempt to train herself. When the time came for admission into the academy, she was allowed to enter due to her father insisting it would be the best way to clear the “silly ninja dream” from her head. However she surprised everyone by passing the test and showing great promise. During her time in the academy, she learned much more about chakra leading her to develop the Phantom limb jutsu (a jutsu that forms water into arms) which allowed her to learn complex jutsu and advance with her class. She increased in skill and became a chunin at 14 and recently became a jounin. She hopes to one day join the INT so that see may see the rest of world.

Personality: Due to her clan’s initial rejection of her, she has a difficulty trusting people and is fairly cocky about her abilities since she mostly trained herself before entering the academy. Although she may seem cold, once her respect is gained, she is a good friend and always happy to help them out if they need it. She is determined and serious about being a ninja and dreams about becoming a member of INT and seeing the rest world

The contest called for a unique character I think that is fairly unique since I have never seen a one arm ninja (then again I haven't watch too many of the episodes after the attack on Konoha since Sasuke annoys me) so maybe there was one in there. Also, if any of you are wondering if a one hand jutsu can be done, Haku did do it and since no seems to know if he is the only one or not I decided that could work for her too. Besides if you are missing something, the rest of you gets stronger so if you don't like the Haku explanation you can take that one.
