Okay people, this is something that has been bothering me and you can disagree or agree. Whatever you choose.
I know that many original artists tend to look down on fanartists since it is fanart. While there are some awful fanart out there, there are plenty of amazing fanartists with just as much if not more talent than some of these purists. Also, there are fanartist who have a pretty nasty attitude over this argument and a few who have a poor attitude about original art. On the other hand I know that I personally can't do only fanart because I feel drained after awhile. But at the same time, I also like to celebrate things I like through my art. Although I am not advocating both for everyone. People should draw what makes them happy and if that is the case then go right on ahead. I made this stamp for people who are both or support the idea of being both fanartists and original artists.
